Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class product management organization and continues to look for top-notch product managers to expand the team. As a Principal Product Manager for Prisma SD-WAN/SASE at Palo Alto Networks, you will be at the forefront of advancing networking and SD-WAN for SASE technology

This role demands a unique combination of technical acumen, networking expertise and product management skills. You'll play a pivotal role in executing to our SD-WAN and SASE strategy, working closely with engineering teams to bring innovative products to market. You will be responsible for driving the product strategy and operations, feature functionality and roadmap for Prisma SD-WAN and Prisma SASE. In addition to your creativity, you will also rely on interaction with customers and partners to understand requirements and problems. You will be expected to deliver product functionality that matches Palo Alto Networks’ level of innovation. You will be involved in all stages of the feature lifecycle (conception, definition, development, release and post-release activities) managing strategic planning, feature selection and tactical activities. 

Your Impact

  • Ownership of the product strategy, planning, and operations
  • Feature prioritization and trade-off decision-making
  • Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, and product positioning
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements and roadmaps - Translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans; Work closely with the UI/UX team to define user experience for the product
  • Customer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption - Be an advocate for the product internally and externally
  • Engage with customers to gather insights, validate concepts, and understand evolving needs in the SD-WAN and SASE landscape and continually improve the user experience

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent military experience
  • MBA Preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management (Networking or SASE technologies)
  • Strong technical background with deep understanding of Enterprise Networking space, Cloud/Data Center Networking, SD-WAN/WAN technologies
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $166000 - $268500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
