Assists and supports General Counsel with various corporate legal duties including contract review and revision, drafting and editing correspondence, drafting and editing AIA forms, file organization, and other administrative tasks. Provide litigation support including discovery procedures (such as drafting legal hold letters and reviewing documents for discovery). May conduct legal research and analysis of statutes, cases, and/or legal articles. May perform duties related to insurance and risk management, state compliance, and/or corporate formation. Understands technical and legal terminology. Typically requires a paralegal certification (exam).

Review and revise contracts as assigned

Draft and edit correspondence

Draft and edit AIA forms

Maintain and update legal files, including litigation files, contract files, correspondence, insurance files, and collections files

Provide litigation support, including drafting legal hold letters, responding to subpoenas, and reviewing documents for discovery

Maintain and update insurance files, including certificates of insurance and knowledge of insurance requirements

Organize files and take notes as needed

Other duties and special projects, as assigned.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Proficient in Adobe/Bluebeam

Experienced in contract review

Knowledge of litigation and court filings

(preferred) familiarity with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint

(preferred) familiarity with intellectual property issues and filings

(preferred) familiarity with business licensing, business formation and/or dissolution

(preferred) familiarity with insurance certificates and policies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to independently problem solve using the tools and resources available

Excellent attention to detail including ability to focus on detailed tasks

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities

Ability to maintain confidential employee information

Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in a similar role.

Paralegal certification (exam), preferred

The wage range that the Company expects to pay is $28/hour - $33/hour.
