This position will join a dynamic team and play a key role in software development of UI/UX capabilities for the FC2 program. This individual is a self-starter, works well with others and has strong development skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer who enjoys working in an environment where the application of his or her skills directly supports the success of a program.The Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution System (FORGE) is a program that will utilize the resources and capabilities of both the legacy Space Based-Infrared System (SBIRS) and the Next Generation OPIR system. FORGE will use current ground architecture to leverage newer technologies, facilitate the addition of new systems, and incorporate these into a common C2 architecture that includes infrastructure, platform, and core services.What You'll Be Doing• Supports principal/lead engineers and program managers in developing subsystem solutions through multiple phases of the engineering lifecycle, and in developing other work products of varying complexity.• Verifies work products meet detailed customer and user requirements and other design objectives.• Leads design, technical, and programmatic meetings, and resolves issues.• Develops and reviews integrated technical and programmatic documentation.• Develop custom web-based user interfaces and supporting backend applications related to satellite systems monitoring, command, and control.• Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.• Create system design specifications and other technical documents as required.• Document software defects.• Configuration management of software modules and system documentation.What Required Skills You'll Bring• 4+ years of Web Application UI Development (HTML5, ES, Typescript, CSS)• 2+ years Java and/or Kotlin programming language• Excellent verbal / written communication and organizational skills• Team-oriented personality• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or similar field• 5+ of minimum experience with a Bachelor’s degree• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCIWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring• React Library• User interface design and usability & Unit and Integration testing frameworks• Spring Framework• Microservices development & Microservices frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman)• GIT software version control systems• Experience with C/C++• Active TS/SCI clearanceMinimum Clearance Required To StartSecretThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.Our Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
