Part-Time Security Guard, Carnaghi Arts Building - OPS

College of Fine Arts

The position is located in the Carnaghi Arts Building (CAB)

Monitor and patrol the Carnaghi Arts Building between the hours of 4:30 pm and 1:00 am.

Serve as the front desk attendant and perform rounds of the building to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, and staff.

Security Staff may confront issues of policy, safety, or security, as well as assist in times of emergency or crisis.

Communicate frequently with the College of Fine Arts Facilities Manager to ensure they are informed of what is happening in the building.

This position requires compliance with University Confidentiality policies.

High School Graduate or Equivalent

Ability to understand and implement University policy.

Ability to communicate clearly in writing.

Must be able to appropriately report emergency situations.

Experience with building security.

Sixteen hours a week, nights between 4:30 pm - 1:00 am. The days of the week may vary.
