Opportunity Summary:

The ideal Partner Enablement Manager brings strong opinions about driving transformational learning, the success that proper partner enablement brings, and are willing to take risks but hate failing. You have a strong track record of sales, consulting, or customer success, with a love of learning and facilitating the learning of others.

This role calls for a hands-on, get-it-done execution capabilities with the ability to think and act strategically in a fast-paced and complex organization. Additionally, a successful candidate will be able to manage executive-level conversations, deliver the appropriate learning strategy for the Upland DWF partner market and anticipate our partners' learning needs. Our ideal candidate must be able to operate independently and have the confidence to parachute into a new partner and curate/deliver onboarding and successful enablement strategies to various roles within the partner. A deep understanding of the partnering process, our products and solutions, and our unique culture are all optimal skills to deliver the best possible outcomes.

This vital role sits within the Worldwide Business Development & Channels team, a global team within the Upland DWF business unit focused on our key strategic partners, channel partners, broader channel recruitment, and partner enablement. The key focus area will be ramping up our new strategic and traditional reseller partners and managing their ongoing learning strategy at scale, while using all the technology and tools available. Our goal is to empower our partners to deliver long-term growth and customer success by ensuring partner readiness to work with their clients.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of a partner enablement strategy. A strategy that ensures successful reseller partner onboarding and productivity while leveraging solutions to deliver accelerated learning and productivity for all customer-facing functions/roles within our strategic and key partners/resellers.
  • Deliver personalized and enhanced learning and enablement experience for partners selling Upland DWF products and solutions.
  • Successfully launch new partners and ensure partners understand who we are, what we do and what our culture is.
  • Enable our partners to become a global community of knowledgeable evangelists sharing ideas, experiences and solving problems together.
  • Develop and deliver partner recruitment presentations, enablement assets, demonstrations, tools, and programs that deliver efficient partner ramp and success.
  • Connect all partners engaged with our broader Upland DWF teams for successful outcomes.
  • Effectively collaborate and partner with our partner management team(s) in Upland DWF.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 3-5 years professional experience in partner management, partner enablement, or similar cross-functional, team-oriented positions
  • Experience with selling, teaching others, and presenting complex ideas to a mixed audience
  • Hands-on experience with Upland DWF products, solutions, and willingness to be the go-to enablement team member.
  • Possesses a track record of managing and executing projects and programs from development through execution.
  • Able to present and report on project metrics and milestones
  • Adaptable mentality - can quickly & smoothly shift gears
  • Curiosity & desire to learn new skills and step into unknown challenges
  • Willingness to travel

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS DESIRED:

  • Track record of working with strategic and traditional partners
  • Complex Solution Selling skills
  • Understanding of content lifecycle automation solutions
  • Strong understanding (even better, experience) of Upland’s story
  • The heart of a motivator to those around you
  • Ability to deliver results in global, matrixed environments comprised of internal and external stakeholders
