POSITION INFORMATION
As a Parts Driver you will be responsible for professionally representing us to our customers while delivering them much needed parts. That makes this role one of our most important! Each day you would load your delivery vehicle, check the load for accuracy, deliver the parts, and collect payments. Obeying all traffic laws and driving defensively is a must.
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, is a 40 hour a week position and is eligible for overtime.
To qualify for our Parts Driver position, you must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information, possess a valid driver’s license, and have a driving record that meets our criteria. You will be required to obtain and maintain a Driver Medical Certification. You will be trained on our procedures and use of our computer inventory system. Dressing professionally and being able to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts is a must.
The Parts Driver position is a physically demanding position. You will drive a company-provided vehicle six to eight hours per shift. Traffic conditions may result in extended hours on occasion. You will lift and transport up to 70 pounds several times a day. You will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. May operate a fork-lift.
