At Paylocity, people matter most and have always been at the heart of our business.Location: RemoteReports to: Senior Manager MarketingPosition OverviewAs Marketing Manager Product Marketing, you will be responsible for critical aspects of product marketing, from strategic alignment to content creation to reporting. We’re looking for a passionate marketer with prior B2B experience who loves to build content and campaign assets; enjoys tackling complex problems, gathering feedback and driving continuous improvement; and has experience with product marketing and exceeding business targets. Successful candidates will be pros in B2B SaaS Marketing, able to quickly learn new technology platforms, and develop understanding of business leaders and HR teams at organizations of all sizes. Responsibilities:• Build relationships with and bring insights to Product (competitive, field, buyer persona, etc.) to help inform their work (roadmap, prioritization, etc.)• Serve as internal evangelist and subject matter expert within Marketing and to other partners. Share information, develop messaging and positioning, and generate excitement. Ultimately, enable Sales and Marketing to understand and communicate value.• Bring new offerings to market (product launch). Partner cross functionally across marketing to develop on-time, high quality deliverables across a range of formats (decks, long form content, web pages, product collateral like one-pagers or whitepapers, etc.) that meet business goals.• Monitor performance of programs, campaigns and content including measuring, reporting, and presenting key performance metrics both ad hoc as well as on a consistent bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly timeline.• Be a subject matter expert in our technology, market trends, target personas and pain points to optimize campaignsRequirements• 5+ years' B2B marketing experience in B2B SaaS working with product and sales teams• BS/BA in Communications, Marketing or related field desired• Ability to become expert in new products, evaluate them in the competitive environment, and define messaging aligned to customer value and use cases• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills• Superior cross group collaboration skills working across internal and external departments• Organized, detail-oriented and highly motivated, with project management experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment• Highly reliable and accountable to achieve deadlines, working with multiple team members across different departments, while managing multiple projects• Must be a self-starter and problem solver, not afraid to respectfully challenge priorities and ask questions• Expert in Microsoft Suite, familiarity with marketing automation tools, CMS platforms, sales analytics, and CRM• Experience working with diverse internal stakeholders, including leadership, product, sales, L&D, etc.• Strong understanding of marketing analytics and KPIs, and track record of successfully meeting business targetsPaylocity is an equal-opportunity employer. The pay range for this position is $88,000 - $118,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
