Community Events Coordinator (US-based Green Energy Company)

Work Arrangement: Fully remote, overlapping EST working hours

Job Type: Independent Contractor, Full-time

Salary Range: Up to $1,500 per month, based on experience, with performance-based bonuses

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with core hours between 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

Locations: Remote, open to candidates in the Philippines

Role Overview:

As the Community Events Coordinator at our client company, you'll be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and supporting high-level executives in the renewable energy sector. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a significant impact in the clean energy industry while showcasing their exceptional organizational and event planning skills.

Your Impact:

Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth operation of the executive office, successful execution of company events, and overall operational efficiency. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth and mission in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Planning and Coordination
    • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of company events, meetings, and off-site activities
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure event success
    • Create detailed event timelines and checklists
    • Assist with on-site event management and support
  2. Executive Support
    • Manage the CEO's calendar, coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries
    • Act as a gatekeeper for all communication and ensure effective prioritization of tasks
    • Handle and attend to personal tasks as needed
    • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documents for stakeholders
  3. Project Management & Support
    • Proactively assist with various projects
    • Track project progress and deadlines
    • Collaborate with department heads to streamline communication and task delegation

Must-Have:

  • At least 3 years of event planning and coordination experience, preferably for medium to large-scale events
  • At least 3 years of executive assistant experience, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working in or passionate about renewable energy or the sustainability sector
  • Financial literacy, including basic budgeting, expense tracking, and report generation
  • Remote event management experience
