We put our purpose into practice, inspiring people to move, improve and enjoy life’s essential resources for happier, healthier lives.From our residential and business water solutions to our sustainable innovations and applications, our 10,500 global employees serve customers in more than 150 countries, working to help improve lives and the environment around the world.As a Pentair employee, you would enjoy a wide array of benefit options to help keep you and your family healthy and protected, a generous 401(k) and ESPP to help you save for retirement, plus paid time off and wellness programs to encourage a healthy work / life balance.We have an opportunity for an Aftermarket Regional Sales Manager to join our growing Commercial & Infrastructure Flow (CIF) business.This business manufactures pump solutions used in commercial fire suppression, commercial HVAC, municipal water, wastewater, and flood control.In this newly created position, you will own your region and promote our pump aftermarket parts and service solutions through our distribution channel and directly to end users to drive business growth.In this position, you will cover the eastern U.S. region, including ME, NH, VT, NY, MA, CT, RI, PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, FL, and AL. #LI-RemoteYou will :• Manage aftermarket parts and service sales development process in coordination with sales channel and internal teams.• Capture market share by developing business partnership plans with our distributors and directly with end users.• Influence life cycle cost decisions through conducting technical lunch & learns with engineers, maintenance teams & facility operators.• Manage and promote preventive and predictive capabilities targeted to extend equipment life and solve pumping problems.• Increase sales opportunity funnel and track win-rate by actively utilizing a customer relationship management software (CRM), such as Salesforce.• Manage authorized service center program and coordination of end user pumping solutions.Key Qualifications :• Have earned a Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree.• Have 5+ years of professional experience in the municipal water and wastewater treatment industry OR commercial HVAC / fire suppression industry, including hands-on experience with vertical and horizontal centrifugal pumps.• Outside sales and / or service experience with commercial and / or infrastructure pumping equipment preferred.• Knowledge and field experience of root cause failure analysis and developing end user pumping solutions is also preferred.• Ability to utilize relevant software programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and equipment selection software (e.g., Encompass).Travel :Up to 75% overnight travel to end-users, distributors, events, tradeshows, and other business-related meetings.This posting is for one full-time regional sales position. Candidates can be located anywhere in or near the region, which includes the following states : ME, NH, VT, NY, MA, CT, RI, PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, FL, and AL.For New York City residents, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $90500 - $ 168100 / year. For all other candidates within or near this region, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $82300 - $152800 / year.At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range.
