Are you excited about delivering the best employee experience to our internal guests? This position may be the perfect fit for you! The People & Culture Intern supports key functions in the People & Culture Department like recruitment, selection , onboarding, benefits enrollment, learning, and employee relations. This role serves as an ambassador of the department by being the smiling face that everyone wants to see and ensures the accurate collection and maintenance of confidential employee information.

  • Assist with the administration in the Human Resources Office; Filing, answering phones, greeting employees, etc.

  • Assist with training courses and execution of training events

  • Assist with meetings and events

  • Assist with mass winter recruitment hiring

  • Coordinate and assist with aspects of Employee Relations

  • Gain an understanding of employee benefits and payroll

  • Work closely with the other department on projects, and maintaining policies and procedures.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution that requires you to complete a 3-month internship.

  • Past hospitality and/or HR experience an asset

  • Major in either Hospitality Management or Human Resources

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware/software

  • Fluent English (written, spoken and reading)

  • Strong organization skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong commitment to service

  • Ability to work in the US
