People & Culture Manager
Job description:
Position serves as the Surface US People & Culture lead for Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, Engagement, Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition and Human Resource Business Partnering within the Surface West US region. Position is also responsible for the management and development of Regional HR Business Partners based throughout the US.
· Provides day to day performance management guidance to Human Resources Business Partners and line management (coaching, counseling, career development, corrective actions)
- Collaborates with operations management, employees, and other P&C team members to evaluate, comply, and enforce existing People & Culture policies and programs as well as champion and implement new P&C programs
- Drives improvement of organizational effectiveness by analyzing organizational structure and evaluating options and providing recommendations to support business goals
- Builds strong relationships with senior management; meeting on a regular basis to keep current needs of the business and to keep managers informed of P&C initiatives
- Assist hiring managers on interviewing leadership positions. Works with talent acquisition and hiring managers to develop recruitment strategy to fill open positions, both professional and technical roles
- Reinforces the organization’s core values and behavioral expectations through modeling, communication, and coaching
- Consults with managers on setting base pay and bonus compensation and in making equity award recommendations; Provides advice during the annual salary review cycle
- Identifies and recommends P&C services/programs (people practices) within Surface West that encourages employee involvement and increase in employee enthusiasm, morale, and retention of quality employees
- Drives compliance and adherence to compensation programs within NAM/Surface West Operations which includes developing job descriptions, performing job analysis, implementing merit and bonus processes, and recommending and approving site salary
- Works closely with key stakeholders to understand business issues and opportunities in developing strategic P&C initiatives as a tactical response to address those opportunities.
- Proactively supports and works with site leadership regarding overall workforce staffing plan to include recruiting and selection as well as appropriately staffing the organization through various business-related cycles.
- Partners with internal communications team to ensure that employees are aware of and understand the key business drivers and performance/behavioral expectations
- Provides oversight and encourages support of local iVolunteer/community activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10+ years relevant Human Resources experience, with 5+ in a leadership capacity
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Working knowledge of multiple Human Resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of TechnipFMC personnel, as well as external and internal customer and suppliers
- Relevant oil & gas services industry experience is preferred
- Intermediate competency with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Spends 80% of time in temperature-controlled office environment. Occasional exposure to shop and field environment as required. Up to 25% domestic travel required with the potential of occasional international travel
