This role reports to the BI Manager based in Melbourne and focuses on delivering clear, accurate, and timely compliance reporting across multiple global regulatory jurisdictions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Data Engineering, and Product, to build scalable processes, dashboards, and reporting solutions.

Your contribution will be vital in shaping our compliance reporting capabilities and ensuring we continue to meet our obligations with confidence, accuracy, and efficiency.

As our Compliance Reporting Analyst, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare, validate, and submit periodic and ad-hoc regulatory reports across seven licenses.
  • Develop dashboards to improve visibility and track compliance metrics.
  • Translate ambiguous regulatory language into data definitions and reporting rules.
  • Partner closely with Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure reporting requirements are integrated from project inception.
  • Support broader data governance initiatives and champion data literacy across teams.

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience in compliance reporting, analytics, or business intelligence (experience in FinTech or Financial Services is a plus).
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel; experience with Git, Tableau, Redshift, and/or Python is a plus.
  • A sharp analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable interpreting regulations and requirements into meaningful reporting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse, global teams.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a natural curiosity to learn and improve.
