Better Being is looking for a Performance Partner that will develop, implement, and administer Employee Performance Programs. The ideal candidate will help drive organizational performance management philosophy and processes throughout the organization. The Performance Partner will report to the HR Director – Total Rewards and Performance.

Essential Functions

  • Conducts assessments that identify gaps in skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve goals throughout the organization.
  • Build out and manage performance processes in HRIS.
  • Run and calibrate succession planning processes.
  • Design performance strategies and processes that measure desired outcomes.
  • Calibrate data into top and bottom performance quartiles.
  • Analyze DE&I against performance calibrations.
  • Responsible for mid-year merit promotion process.
  • Assist in identifying types of training and development that can support workforce performance improvement. Discuss findings with Talent Partner and leadership.
  • Measure performance trends and improvements using analytics.
  • Maintain statistical data relative to performance reviews, pulse surveys, and all other relevant data collected.
  • Encourages a culture of objective setting.
  • Assist the HR Director - Total Rewards and Performance in ensuring outcomes of performance indicators are tied to pay and other rewards.
  • Maintains inventory of preferred solutions used for Performance Management, such as 90-day reviews, 360 reviews, executive assessments, leadership assessments, and surveys, etc.
  • Coordinate the quarterly and annual Performance Review process including talent assessment, succession planning and development plan execution.
  • Create Performance Review Forms in HRIS and launch to eligible associates.
  • Identify and manage the key success metrics for the Performance Management programs.
  • Use people analytics skills to ensure feedback is successfully impacting the overall objectives of Better Being Co.
  • Partner with employee relations and business leaders to communicate risks and trends.
  • Partner closely with People Team to ensure all Performance based initiatives are being met.

Additional Responsibilities

  • May assist with or coordinate training as needed to assist employees in meeting performance requirements.
  • Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities.
  • Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Two to four years of HR, Performance Management or other relevant experience required.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software. Knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
