Deficiency Estimator

Job Title: Suppression Deficiency Estimator


Job Summary: 


We’re looking for a Suppression Deficiency Estimator to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying deficiencies in kitchen hood and suppression systems within existing customer accounts that have been flagged by field inspectors or documented reports. You'll also be responsible for promoting and selling products/services to address these deficiencies, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely turnover completion. Meeting sales goals and revenue targets is an essential part of this position.


Compensation:


Hourly Pay: $26-28/hour (based on applicable skills and experience) + commission


Responsibilities:


Propose services for customers, collaborate with them on solutions, and complete turnover processes promptly. Ensure all inspections in Compliance Engine are reviewed and proposals are generated within 14 days of the inspection upload date.

Triage customer priorities to identify high-priority orders for timely completion.

Deliver high-quality service hand-offs, including turnover forms, clear scopes, and team-oriented communications.

Review all red tags in Compliance Engines daily.

Maintain accurate status tags in Compliance Engines and Service Trade on all red tags: “Reviewed,” “Proposed,” “Accepted,” and “Completed” (completed by billing coordinators).

Develop product knowledge on all Performance Systems products and services.

Educate customers on the differences in fire suppression and monitoring products and services.

Multitask and prioritize incoming deficiency requests.

Conduct site walks as needed for accurate quoting.


Qualifications:


1 to 3 years of sales experience in a related field with a strong record of achievement; knowledge of Suppression Systems is highly desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience preferred.

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
