PurposeAs a Consumables Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and direction for our Consumables Product Portfolio. Your role involves ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, gathering customer insights, prioritizing product requirements, and guiding product development and procurement through the entire product life cycle.ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy and Vision:• Develop and communicate a clear product vision for our Consumables Product Portfolio.• Define short-term and long-term product strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market share.• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.Product Roadmap:• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, sales, and customer support) to create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap.• Prioritize new product launches based on customer needs, market demand, and business goals.Financial Management:• Manage the financial performance of the Consumables Product Portfolio, including cost capacity. planning for production, setting global base price, monitoring price performance, and ensuring profitability.Customer Insights:• Conduct market research to understand customer pain points, needs, and preferences related to consumables products.• Collect and analyze data from customer feedback, surveys, and market trends.• Translate insights into actionable product improvements and innovations.Sourcing & Procurement:• Work with procurement team to help source suppliers, set product requirements, support negotiations, manage vendors, and drive cost improvement.Go-to-Market Strategy:• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create effective go-to-market plans.• Support eCommerce for product portfolio• Develop pricing strategies, product positioning, and messaging.• Support product launches, training, and promotional activities.Basic Characteristics:• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (chemistry, biochemistry, or related discipline).• 5+ years in product management in scientific consumables or consumables intensive business. Must have demonstrated consumables experience.• Strong business acumen with proven track record driving revenue growth and market expansion in consumables.• Proven ability to drive profitability through vendor management, procurement optimization and SKU rationalization.• Fluency in eCommerce TechnologyPreferred Characteristics• Analytical Instrumentation or Life Sciences experience preferred but not required.• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $118,040.00 - $145,000.00. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
