WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
Box is looking for the next member of a highly impactful and visible team. The Platform Solutions Engineer role will partner with our world-class sales team and serve as the primary technical advisor for customers and ISVs that want to build the next generation of enterprise applications using the Box platform. This role requires a strong technical background, project management experience, and a strong ability to present both technical and business materials. It also requires a willingness to learn as you will rarely be called upon to architect the same application twice.
This is not your typical Solutions Engineer role. As a small and well-regarded team, we are intimately involved with product direction and have a lot of impact engaging with functional leaders across the business. If you've ever been in a place where you have felt like your voice is unheard, you will be pleasantly surprised! Outside of that, as a PSE, you will be exposed to many different application environments and topologies. The fact that no customer environment or development project is the same makes this a great role for learning new technologies and to grow your skills and knowledge. There is always something new, and it's one of the many reasons we all love this team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Sell - This is, after all, a Solutions Engineer role at the core. You'll be a key member of the technical opportunity team!
Build - Whether it's for a demo or a tool to help other Boxers to get their job done, you'll be building things!
Influence - The PSE role is extremely cross-functional - as such, you'll have meaningful influence across the business and teams you partner with!
Grow - There's an immense opportunity for growth here - personally, professionally, and for the team… you'll definitely grow!
Play - An inherent sense of curiosity and willingness to explore new technology is critical for the PSE role - you'll get exposed to new and interesting technology to play around with!
