Job Title: Player Services Clerk

General Description: The clerk assist patrons at the Kiosk creating New accounts or reprints of existing accounts, or pin resets. May be required on occasions to manually input guest information into Casino Management System, issue player cards, enrolls guest in promotions, issuing complimentary gifts, and provides quality customer service.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Welcome and greet patrons into Players Club/Kiosk locations to ensure guest awareness
  • Inform customers of our promotions, card benefits, while providing excellent customer service. Explain point reward system and the different award levels and gifts available based on their usage
  • Determine complimentary worthiness of card play using established guidelines and guest point total listed in Casino Management system.
  • Create Player’s Club Cards using Kiosk or entering customer data into computer system capturing information such as Name, Address, Telephone Number, Email Address and Gender in order to track game play for gifts, promotional participation, and to increase membership
  • Answer basic customer questions concerning gaming machines, table games, and promotional events (e.g. downloadable credits, flash play, win/loss statements, customer mailings, table games available, and promotional events occurring)
  • Update patron information using ACSC system and casino based facility software typing accurately
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma / GED required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to work various hours as needed including weekends and holidays
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have good oral communication skills
  • Must be able to type twenty-five (25) words per minutes
  • Must be team oriented

Training and Experience:

  • Customer services experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications/Other:

  • Be able to pass a background check and receive a gaming license from the Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
  • Complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
  • Must be able to successfully complete Title 31 training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend and turn frequently for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to stand and work at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; requires normal vision/hearing range and basic math skills in order to perform assigned job duties correctly

Work Environment:

The work environment may require exposure to second hand smoke, flashing lights, and loud noises; require exposure to hostile and emotionally disturbed people, and may experience extreme weather conditions on the job as well as on the way to and from specific job sites. May work in areas where temperatures fluctuate, have poor ventilation or areas where smoking may be allowed, and have to work in high traffic areas or places where people congregate. Must be able to work with the public with ability to handle difficult situations.
