About the Job:
We're searching for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer to spearhead the technical development of Mystic Kingdoms. You'll be a crucial part of our team, ensuring our game is performant, scalable, and pushes the boundaries of what's possible in mobile gaming. What You'll Do:
Define the technical vision: Collaborate with the Executive Producer and the development team to establish the technical direction for Mystic Kingdoms.
Lead and mentor: Guide and mentor a talented team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Architect and implement: Design and implement core game systems, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and scalable.
Ensure quality: Champion coding best practices, conduct code reviews, and drive a culture of technical excellence.
Optimize performance: Analyze and optimize game performance to ensure a smooth and enjoyable player experience across a range of devices.
Stay ahead of the curve: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in game technology and mobile development.
What You Need:
Proven experience: 5+ years of hands-on Unity programming experience in a game studio environment, with at least one shipped mobile game title.
Unity expertise: Deep understanding of Unity engine functionalities, architecture, and best practices.
C# proficiency: Strong C# programming skills with a focus on game development.
Multiplayer knowledge: Experience with real-time multiplayer game development and networking.
Mobile optimization: Proven ability to optimize game performance for mobile platforms (Android and iOS).
MOBA familiarity: Strong knowledge of MOBA games and their unique technical challenges.
Excellent communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.
Bonus Points:
Master's degree: MS in Computer Science or a related field.
Leadership skills: Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
Passion for gaming: A genuine enthusiasm for gaming, particularly MOBAs.
