Role Overview:

We seek a passionate Scrum Master to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in fostering agile maturity and streamlining processes across the organization. As a Scrum Master at Playson, you will guide and support two cross-functional development teams in their Agile journey.

Your primary focus will be to keep adopting Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, ensuring continuous improvement in the team's efficiency and delivery of high-quality products.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as a Scrum Master for two Agile Platform Development Squads, assisting them in delivering value and fostering self-organization within the team.

• Identify areas of improvement within the Agile development process and collaborate with team members and stakeholders to implement changes that enhance productivity, predictability, and product quality.

• Coach the teams in the Scrum framework, ensuring that ceremonies (such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) are well-executed and valuable.

• Grow team maturity by encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, which fosters a sense of accountability and responsibility for the project's success.

• Collaborate with the Tribe Leader, Architects, Product Owners, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure clear communication and alignment of priorities and that the team delivers maximum business value.

• Act as a mediator and apply conflict resolution skills within and between teams and stakeholders.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Agile methodologies, tools, and practices, and apply them appropriately within the organization.

• Be ready to break the rules and old habits to streamline the process and be able to grow teams into self-managed systems.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment, ideally within the software or gaming industry.

• Understanding of software development & SRE practices, cloud architecture, Kubernetes, DevOps, and CI/CD, AWS pipelines is beneficial.

• Experience in the iGaming industry is a plus.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, particularly Scrum, Kanban

• Flexibility in applying Agile methodologies not by the book, but in a way that benefits our specific product and business context.

• Excellent facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams towards continuous improvement.

• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of Agile practices and principles.

• Familiarity with Agile tools and metrics for measuring team performance.

• A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a focus on problem-solving and driving results for the business.

• Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are desirable.
