POLITICO is seeking a high-energy reporter to join our Politics team, covering state and national politics. The job requires deep knowledge and sourcing on the national political scene, familiarity with political developments in key states, and the ability to see emerging political trends before anyone else. A love of politics is a must; command of the political landscape and the forces shaping it — including demographics, presidential politics, fundraising, polling, advertising, social media and internal party dynamics — is a necessity. We’re looking for a tenacious reporter who knows how to work a beat and break news, but also has the analytical and storytelling skills to lead the pack.
