Who We Need

Portfolio T is hiring an accomplished Product Marketer to spearhead the marketing strategy for our groundbreaking product, Pyxos. This strategic role is centered around driving the adoption and success of our AI-driven platform, designed to redefine how businesses ensure privacy compliance with laws like GDPR and CCPA. As a senior member of our marketing team, you'll be instrumental in launching our product to Alpha accounts in 2024 and laying the groundwork for our Enterprise offerings. With your deep understanding of market needs and product positioning, you'll ensure Pyxos stands out as the premier "AI Compliance Officer" for businesses navigating the complexities of data privacy.

In this role, you will drive:

  • Market Strategy Development: Craft and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote product awareness, drive adoption, and achieve market penetration for our initial 3-5 Alpha launches in 2024. Your strategies will be pivotal in setting the stage for our Enterprise solutions.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling positioning and messaging that clearly articulates the value and uniqueness of Pyxos, ensuring it resonates with our target markets and client profiles.
  • Lead Generation and Client Engagement: Implement targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads and build strong relationships with key Alpha account clients. Your efforts will be crucial in converting interest into successful product implementations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the key marketing stakeholder, working closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to align on product features, benefits, and customer needs. Your ability to translate product capabilities into marketing advantages will be essential.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to guide product development and marketing strategies, ensuring Pyxos remains ahead of industry trends and competition.
  • Content and Resource Development: Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including sales enablement tools, product demos, and case studies, to support the sales process and highlight product benefits.


This is a contract role, at 20 hours per week to start with potential to convert into a full-time role.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing or a related role, ideally within a SaaS or technology-focused environment.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for storytelling and presenting complex products in an accessible and compelling manner.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to glean insights from market data and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects and teams, demonstrating exceptional leadership and project management abilities.
  • A deep understanding of the tech industry's privacy and compliance landscape is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
