Position Summary:
The BioSMART Center at NJIT is seeking a postdoctoral fellow with experience in biosensor design, characterization, and applications. Ph.D. in Chemistry is required with proven skills in biosensors, polymer synthesis, microbial testing, and surface microscopy. The ideal candidate should have relevant practical experience in designing and characterizing biological sensors and analytical chemistry that can support our research program. The candidate should be conversant, albeit with some knowledge of electrochemical techniques, ELISA, LC/MS, SEM, TEM, XRD, and QCM. Essential Functions: Research, managing scientific equipment at the SMART Center, co-supervision of graduate and undergraduate students and scholarships.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

Ph.D. Analytical Chemistry
