Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Budget & Business Team by enforcing work standards and providing expert guidance in budgeting, financial analysis, and business operations. This role demands strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of real property financial management within the federal government.


Responsibilities
  • Develop, monitor, and enforce work standards across the Budget & Business Team.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes related to real property management.
  • Manage financial obligations and commitments for programs/projects similar to infrastructure and construction within the federal government.
  • Provide expertise in business process improvements related to federal infrastructure and construction.
  • Assist government agencies with audit preparation and response.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with budget and financial standards.
  • Supervise and mentor team members to achieve organizational goals.


Requirements
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business, or an MBA.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years managing financial obligations and commitments for programs/projects related to real property financial management in the federal government.
  • At least seven (7) years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience assisting government agencies with audits.
  • Familiarity with budget and finance functions related to real property management in the federal government.
  • Certifications:
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI), Professional Engineer (PE) license, or Architectural Registration (license).
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in improving business processes in the context of federal infrastructure and construction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with cross-functional teams.
