Bilingual Legal Assistant

Bilingual Legal Assistant for workers' compensation law firm located in Irvine CA.This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity paying $20-25/hr depending on experience. This is an ON SITE position. Hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, M-F, overtime possible, when needed. Benefits include medical insurance and PTO.Responsibilities:• Conduct research to support legal proceedings• Communicate case information directly with applicants• Process applications• Calendar and schedule events• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents• Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes• Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations• Record and store applicant information• Communicate with doctor's offices and insurance carriersQualifications:• Bilingual in Spanish is a MUST• Min 2 years experience as a Paralegal or other legal field with workers' compensation• Familiarity with legal research• Ability to prioritize and multitask• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Deadline and detail-orientedCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
