PrideStaff is looking for a Health Admin HR Specialist to join our client's team! Location: Reston, VA
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Compensation: $26.50/ hr
Health Admin HR Specialist Responsibilities:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and
filed appropriately.
• Ensures medical compliance trainings & certifications are up to date (using online tracking system)
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Point of Contact for team regarding SOP's, benefits, etc. including new hire orientation to company policies.
• Referring more complex questions to senior-level management.
• Liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health,
disability, and retirement plan providers.
• Referring more complex issues to senior-level management.
• Complete quarterly/annual review of compliance documents ensuring required postings are up to date
• Assists Leadership Team with HR actions, including remediation and termination of employees in accordance
with company policy.
• Understand Progressive Discipline policy of company
• Verify documentation compliance
• Witness / Document HR discussions
• Assist in schedule and payroll functions with timecard / PTO / schedule verifications
• Assists leadership team with facilitation of maintenance of office equipment as needed
• Assist in maintaining compliant, up to date shared drive files relating to HR/training
• Assists with planning and execution of special company / team events
• Assist teams, as needed, with administrative duties such as filing faxes, answering/making phone calls,
processing, handling, or distributing mail, and preparing team/practice notices or reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Medical Office HR Assistant Requirements:
1-2 years HR experience required
2 years + Medical office experience required
Computer proficiencies
Ability to define and communicate processes effectively.
A self-starter, requiring little or no supervision.
Dependable team player, detail-oriented, accurate, organized and flexible.
