What You'll DoPrincipal's Global Equity team is searching for an experienced Consumer Staples analyst. This candidate will work with a diverse team of portfolio managers and analysts supporting research and recommendations!In this role, you’ll be able to:• Provide and continue to build expertise Globally in the Consumer Staples sector• Partner closely with other analysts and portfolio managers to provide outperformance through stock selection, while working within the framework of our process and portfolio constraints• Make specific company recommendations based on in-depth fundamental analysis and provide essential insights into industry trends• Partner with the Research Director and Portfolio Managers to make long-term investment recommendations for multiple portfolios• Maintain research coverage of existing investments within the assigned sector coverage• Proactively research, compile, and analyze information to aid Portfolio Managers in making informed investment decisionsPrincipal Asset Management offers global asset management expertise across a diverse set of traditional and alternative asset classes. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$137000 - $185000 / yearTime Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
