Principal Product Manager - Knowledge Graph

As the Graph Platform Product Manager you will be driving the product strategy, and execution for the Atlas knowledge graph, which sits at the heart of Altana's shared source of truth for the global supply chain. You will be responsible for building a deep understanding of our customer's needs, synthesizing them into a coherent product roadmap, and diligently executing that roadmap. You will create leverage throughout the product organization by building our graph service and capabilities as a highly scalable and extensible platform. You will collaborate with a world-class team of engineers, design, research, data science, and implementation teams to develop and execute the roadmap. As a senior member of the team, this role will provide an incredible opportunity to interface with the go-to-market teams to interact with our customers and evangelize our product vision and roadmap.

Your responsibilities

Manage the product strategy and roadmap for Altana's knowledge graph to meet customer needs and to lay the foundations of a competitively differentiated graph in anticipation of future evolutions
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and data scientists to execute the product roadmap and help build scalable graph service with foundational capabilities such as extensibility, data access controls, and multi-cloud deployment
Interface with application teams and with customer teams in order to deeply understand platform needs across our target customer segments: customs agencies, logistics providers, F500 enterprises, and defense and intelligence agencies
Become the go-to expert for the future of knowledge graphs in the context of global supply chains and trusted networks
Work closely with our commercial and product marketing teams to build our graph product value propositions and go-to-market plans; build a deep understanding of our market trends, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape

Your skills

10+ years of product management experience in a technology company, with a strong preference for experience in a fast-growth enterprise environment. Extensive product management experience with a "platform product" – APIs, data warehouse, web services, etc.
Deep experience with data based platforms and an understanding of modern data infrastructures.
Outcome driven approach towards product management with a strong sense of taking ownership and accountability for outcomes
Ability to execute with a sense of urgency to execute product strategy in partnership with engineering management.
Excellent communication skills to clearly and concisely communicate complex topics to diverse stakeholders (engineers, customers, etc.) in written and verbal form
A data-driven approach to decision-making with a keen sense of a true Northstar
