Print Production Coordinator & Scheduler

We are a locally owned print, sign, and graphic design company that specializes in solutions to our clients' visual communications needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who wants to join our client-first team today and is looking to grow professionally in the future.

As our Production Coordinator your responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):

  • Strategically scheduling design and production work, as well as sign and graphic installations
  • Continually checking status of in-house jobs and vendor jobs to ensure deadlines are met
  • Scheduling daily pick-ups and deliveries
  • Having a full understanding of the center's products and services; as well as the capabilities of key suppliers and partners;
  • Actively communicating with Clients to understand and deliver signs and printed materials to their satisfaction;
  • Ensuring that all Clients' requirements and needs are met by the work of the Center;
  • Assisting Clients with the resolution of any problems that may arise;
  • Supporting the work of other areas of the Center as needed; and
  • Remaining up to date on changing trends in the visual communications (printing/signs) industry.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing sign and print products (required)
  • Experience with project management / job scheduling
  • 2+ years of graphic design experience (preferred); Adobe Creative Suite experience (preferred)
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • General computer proficiency (required)
  • Ability to accurately discern colors (required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving proficiency
  • Aptitude to get things done with little supervision
  • Talent for planning and executing, with a keen eye for detail and a drive to produce high-quality work
  • Ability to work in a team environment, under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Energetic and positive "can do" attitude, and a sense of humor

*AlphaGraphics centers (locations) are independently owned and operated. The posted positions are offered by individual franchisees who interview, hire, manage and pay the employees hired for positions in a specific local location (center) through their specific business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Print shop or sign shop: 2 years (Required)
