Job Opportunity: School PsychologistPosition Details:• Employment Type: Full Time• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday• Hours per Week: 32-37 hours• Contract Duration: For the 2024/2025 School YearRole Description: As a School Psychologist, you will work within an educational setting to support the mental health and learning needs of students. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing counseling and interventions, and contributing to the overall academic and emotional well-being of students.Qualifications:• Licensure: Must hold a valid State School Psychologist Licensure.• Educational Requirements: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology is required.• Experience: Proven experience in developing and conducting assessments, evaluations, and testing, as well as formulating and implementing IEPs.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development.• Develop and monitor IEPs tailored to meet the individual needs of students.• Provide counseling and support services to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral issues.• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies for learning and behavior management.• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention plans.• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in school psychology.Benefits:• Compensation: $52 or more per hour, depending on experience.• Payment Frequency: Weekly pay.• Health Benefits: Comprehensive health benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Application Process: Zoom interviews are currently being conducted to fill this position.
