The Opportunity:
- Be part of a growing Procurement team at a high growth organization.
- Act as one of the faces of Procurement by providing assistance to internal and external stakeholders
- Make an impact by ensuring our Procurement system processes are operating at optimal levels
- Datadog's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.
You Will:
- Oversee, manage expectations and provide support with various types of Procurement requests and activities such as vendor onboarding and due diligence, purchase requisitions and contract requests in our financial systems
- Review and analyze third party vendor onboarding packages to ensure completion and route through appropriate internal workflows
- Handle multiple aspects of the Procurement process such as routing contracts for signature, assisting third party vendors and entering in purchase orders
- Communicate deficiencies and results pertaining to the vendor due diligence process to third party vendors and internal customers.
- Oversee the administrative portions of Procurement process which include:
- ensuring adherence to internal Service-level agreements (SLAs)
- communicating estimated turnaround times to requestors and vendors
- solving for bottlenecks in the process through communication
- Understand business objectives so as to generate project information, action items, schedule, and deliverables for the team.
- Assist team in ad-hoc procurement and sourcing projects as needed.
- Consistently field inquiries from internal staff and vendors and subsequently train those employees on procurement policies and best practices.
You Are:
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role or capacity (i.e. project management, systems admin or support, business analyst, etc.)
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Attention to detail is a must
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Fluent in French is a plus
- Experience with Procurement Systems recommended
- Experience with Coupa a plus
- Experience building and implementing processes preferred
