Procurement Intern

The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

At our Houston, Tx location the Procurement Co-op will have the opportunity to actively participate in the procurement activities for the areas of Biogas, Renewable Natural Gas, Hydrogen Recovery and other gas separation projects for both internal and external customers. Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in the bidding process, commercial negotiations, various strategic procurement initiatives, invoice management/reconciliation, Oracle ERP data retrieval for reporting, and Google Suite products for documentation & presentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support project procurement activities (procurement plan, RFQ, bid evaluation etc)

• Support strategic procurement initiatives (vendor development, performance review etc)

• Support and coordinate category council meetings

• Reports preparation and invoice reconciliation

• Support P2P Processes

Required Qualifications

• Supply Chain Management

• Demonstrates strong analytical skills

• Ability to work with databases, Google Sheet / Slides / Docs , spreadsheets, and other computerized tools is required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and job professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• MS student in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (technical background)

• Ability to plan, schedule, organize, prioritize, and coordinate procurement activities.

• Ability to understand and work within a regulated environment.

• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

The candidate must have valid unrestricted employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
