What You'll Do:
Strategic Sourcing Strategy: Creates, aligns, and maintains company-wide sourcing strategies to continuously re-evaluate and improve procurement of goods and services aligned and supporting core business objectives.
Supplier Strategy, Selection and Governance: Design, implement and manage category specific supplier strategy, selection process and ongoing inter-disciplinary governance body to ensure a cohesive supplier ecosystem which supports long term business goals. Conduct ongoing market intelligence and competitive bid processes, where needed, to establish benchmarks and ensure favorable agreements and pricing.
Negotiation: Develop detailed negotiation strategies to enable high quality deliverables which support business needs at an optimized price while mitigating risk. Lead large scale negotiations on behalf of, or in tandem with, key stakeholders.
Contracting: Provide contracting subject matter expertise and guidance on terms and conditions, pricing, payment terms, and incentive models. Oversee supplier contract administration, compliance and accountability including quality KPIs, operational efficiency and cost reduction.
Project Management: Lead on project managing the company’s several legacy office leases, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders such as HR, IT, Security, Finance, and Legal, with the goal to reduce office footprint and realize in-year cost savings.
Supplier Management: Segment suppliers and utilize engagement programs to improve performance and supplier relationships over time, work to establish long term relationships where mutually beneficial. Lead strategic business reviews of supplier performance and remediation efforts when necessary.
Business & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain trusted stakeholder relationships across Business, Finance, Operations, Security, and Legal teams. Work across many teams to solve problems and optimize results collaboratively and creatively.
Leadership: Serve as a thought leader to drive continuous improvement across the company. Efficient, strategic problem solver who is comfortable working independently, thinks holistically about key issues, and helps influence positive outcomes.
Who You Are:
5-7+ years business experience, in direct and/or indirect procurement disciplines.
Experience in Procurement management and contract review, including professional services and software vendors required.
Experience on large-scale mission critical projects - sourcing, managing, and administering contracts with a portfolio over USD $50M, with demonstrated improvement over time.
Strong commercial understanding and experience of driving and developing sourcing and supplier strategies, contractual components and negotiating large-scale $5M+ strategic agreements.
Experience working in SaaS industry preferred.
Experience in establishing benchmarks which are used to set procurement savings targets.
Ability to implement new policies and processes, influence and obtain support from a cross functional team.
Can create clarity, generate energy, and deliver success to internal stakeholders.
Has a proven track record of yielding cost-saving results.
Must be ethical and strong value-based individual focused on fairness and maintaining confidentiality.
Be a high performer and able to fit the company “culture” by effectively multi-tasking and managing priorities; have a “sense of urgency” regarding issue resolution.
Excellent communicator that can interact with diverse groups across organizational levels and build strong relationships.
Strong written, presentation, and verbal communications skills that can be applied across organizational levels.
Understand the importance of relationships inside the company and with our suppliers and partners.
Familiarity with common process improvement methodologies and governance models, ability to facilitate change management.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively.
Bring high energy and be driven to achieve results in a matrix organization.
Minimal travel required.
Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
US base salary range: $98,600 - $177,600
