We are actively looking for a Procurement System Consultant to join us and support CSAA IG in achieving our goals.

The Procurement System Consultant will maintain and support both Coupa modules and Ariba Sourcing Event Management. This resource will report directly to the Procurement Technology and Enablement Lead and is well-versed in Procurement’s processes and procedures, ensuring this process is integrated into the End-to-End procurement lifecycle for the organization.

This is a unique opportunity that relies on strong technical skills, business acumen, communication skills, problem solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to help influence decisions related to the RFx process.

This role will act as the main point of contact for Procurement’s Sourcing team in order to manage supplier RFx (Request For x = Information, Proposal, Quotation, Bid) Events and increase CSAA's overall capabilities, and consistency, as it relates to going out to market.

This candidate will act as the subject matter expert for Sourcing Events in order to assist business leaders as they develop their requirements and/or need assistance with RFx issues or problem solving. This role will include the development and delivery of training for Procurement, business areas and system improvements.

This role does not have direct people leadership responsibilities.

The Procurement System Consultant will help to expand our ability to service the business and gain positive results for the bottom line. The role will support Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supplier Management, Contract Management Life Cycle and Sourcing. As well as create operational advancements, data analysis, quick bid functionality and RFP auctions.

This person will be a driving force within the organization to foster communication regarding the company growth within RFx/auction/bid strategies.

Your Role:

  • Perform System configuration and maintenance on Procurement tools (ex. Coupa, Ariba)

  • Partner with incumbent technology vendors in order to troubleshoot, assess and develop the existing technology stack

  • Help govern the RFx process from End-To-End by providing sourcing leads the templates and tools to establish the timelines, priorities and the dates for milestones such as information gathering, requirement building, internal review, and launch.

  • Help sourcing managers draft compelling RFXs that best highlight CSAA’s reputation and capabilities while addressing prospect requirements.

  • Coordinate with SMEs throughout the organization to ensure comprehensive questions are drafted for RFx.

  • Identify, select, and implement tools to assist in the RFP process, such as content libraries and RFP management tools.

  • Develop reusable requirement collateral such as document templates and PowerPoint slide templates

  • Establish best practices regarding documentation, process, and coordination within the Procurement team

  • Achieve daily activity metrics and develop KPIs to help create a pipeline of opportunities

  • Demonstrate capability of collaboration at all levels of the organization

  • Serve as a business admin for procurement’s tools; working on production support, transformation projects and implementing requirements.

  • Drive the Supplier Event Management program, create RFx oversight, produce RFX scoring, analytics & reporting.

  • Introduce auction capabilities and use cases.

  • Partner closely with Category Sourcing, Business stakeholders, Third-Party Risk Management and Finance, to streamline processes, while reducing risk.

Your Work:

  • Provide system and process training and insight regularly to the team

  • Perform system configuration changes in response to existing problems and future enhancements

  • Ensure adoption of the tools by all in Procurement

  • Build Event (RFx, Auction, bid) Program based on CSAAs maturity level and need

  • Maintain and improve existing policies to ensure clarity and applicability

  • Act as a resource to Procurement and business leaders as they manage the RFx process, engaging as necessary to solve problems and suggest ways to make improvements.

  • Take responsibility for the tools’ capabilities and look for opportunities

  • Ensure a clear process and requirements for when we go to market

  • Facilitate award process with Sourcing lead to ensure fairness and appropriate documentation captured

  • Create a way to track throughput by number, spend, savings and percentages

  • Manage FAQ board and ensure sourcing manager is gathering responses

  • Manage creation of a lotting strategy template for the team to leverage auction capability

  • Lead daily operations for the Supplier Event Management process, including Supplier Event functionality, tool configuration/maintenance, governance, reporting and analytics.

  • Act as the primary liaison to sourcing and business partners and coordinate templated RFx internal and external communications on Supplier RFx event needs.

  • Responsible for ensuring quality results and data tracking

Required Experience, Education and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience 6+ years of experience in full lifecycle procurement, supplier management, vendor management and sourcing of equivalent combination of Procurement and consulting experience

The national average salary range for this position is $121,050- $134,500. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire is $108,900 - $161,600. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
