Product Manager - Enterprise Access Control

As Product Manager for Enterprise Access Control you’ll be working across our product suites to build out the next generation platform for data access control powering Datadog for customers across the spectrum from regulated industries to large enterprises.

You’ll work with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers throughout Datadog to design and develop scalable, secure systems and simple user experiences to help customers manage access in their accounts and to also make sure the end-users can navigate the product intuitively. 

The ideal candidate will have some understanding and experience with delivering Access Control platforms that have multiple moving parts and can build deep empathy with both the access manager customers who need to control access in their accounts, and for the end user who has to navigate the experience of limited access in an account.

What You’ll Do: 

• Develop a deep understanding of and empathy for engineers who use Datadog in their day to day.
• Partner with customers who have to ensure limited access in their accounts to understand their concerns and deliver solutions that help them in their roles.
• Partner with design to create simple interfaces that communicate complex details.
• Learn from our most sophisticated customers across any type of environment to be seen as an expert in the field. Provide that expertise within the product and by giving talks and expressing leadership in the industry.
• Work with world-class Product and Engineering teams to develop and evangelize product priorities and roadmaps that inspire our teams’ best work and deliver real value 
• Support and empower the Sales, Account Management, Marketing and Solutions teams to ensure the broadest reach and the best possible customer experience.
• Contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration across the department and broader organization.
• Raise the bar in product management.

Who You Are:

• An experienced Product Manager, ideally at a SaaS company with experience in Access Control (e.g. RBAC, ABAC, IAM)
• You have a strong technical background, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• You are customer-minded with a high quality standard for the product to be delivered

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $130,000 - $300,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
