Valmet is looking for a Product Manager responsible for customer tailored Paper Machine Clothing (PMC) Press Felt and Shoe press Belt technical specifications in Valmet North-America market area (incl. the U.S., Canada and Mexico) and managing core products while maintaining product expertise. Maintaining and updating sales and reference material is essential to gain success in the role. Being aware of current market through development of sales, targeted marketing campaigns and business strategy specific to our customer’s needs will enable success in this position. The candidate must have a technical understanding of our PMC offerings with the ability to negotiate pricing and delivery times within the limits, concluding sales orders and meeting revenue targets. Part of the role is to operate as a between the PMC technology unit in Finland and the NA PMC sales team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing or fabrication environment experience is a plus. Must have experience within the Paper Making industry including customer interface. Travel is required for this position.
