In this role as a Product Sales Manager servicing the southeastern territory for Georgia and Florida, your ideal home/remote office location will be in or around the cities of: Jacksonville, FL, Brunswick, GA, or Savannah, GA. You will play a critical role in working directly with our customers to help grow our market in pulp and stock prep solutions in this area, therefore travel will be required. Your industry knowledge and expertise will be put to good use to ensure that services, audits, sales and customer agreements are carried out to a high level of performance and to the customers satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel such as Purchasing, Operations, Quality Assurance, Mill Management, etc. You will be responsible for selling a wide portfolio of Valmet performance parts, rebuilds, and services specifically in the pulp and stock preparation process area. You will help the customer identify their potential areas of improvement as it relates to these products in their production processes. In this role, you will also roll your sleeves up and perform in mill services including paper machine audits, parts inventories other evaluations at assigned accounts. The successful candidate will secure opportunities to quote on prospective agreements and obtain orders from existing and potential customers. You will help provide a territory sales forecast/budget for assigned accounts, record call reports, and understand the market and competition.
Expectations
This opportunity could be right for you if you have a Bachelors Degree (BA, BS) from four-year college or university in Paper Science, Engineering or a related degree; minimum of 5 years related experience preferably in the paper industry. An Associates or Technical degree with hands on Pulp & Paper experience and a passion to sell could also be considered. Current authorization to work in the United States is required.
