In this role, you will work as part of a product team responsible for shaping the future of Akamai's Compute products.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Working with cross-functional product teams including engineering, sales, and marketing to execute against the product plan.
• Executing the product strategy, roadmap and delivering against the product plan.
• Analyzing operational metrics and trends to manage and maximize product KPIs, revenue and profitability.
• Gathering, documenting, and communicating business and technical requirements.
• Synthesizing feedback and prioritizing development.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS or its equivalent
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Product Management principles and experience of the product life-cycle delivery process.
• Have experience employing an iterative learning approach and adapting to emerging information.
• Demonstrate an understanding of cloud technologies and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Be familiar with Cloud Native technologies such as Kubernetes, Containers, and Serverless
• Be able to research comparative services in the market and help identify opportunities for differentiation.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $120,917 - $193,746/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
