Job Description:

Our Global Operations department is looking for a new member to join our team as a Product Operations Manager. The Product Operations team supports new client/product onboarding implementations, changes to existing portfolio structures and ongoing operations for Russell Investments’ product lineup. In this role, you will manage projects as they relate to new client initiatives and new product launches. These projects include but are not limited to onboarding and offboarding fund launches, closures, and separate accounts, CPS mandates, sub-advisor changes and fund mergers.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000

Specific compensation will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. At Russell Investments, salary is just one part of our compensation package. Your Core Responsibilities:

Act as the central command and control center to coordinate and oversee the implementation of new client initiatives, new product launches, and changes to the existing range, across the North America business.
Provide organization and direction to the wider Operations team members as well as Russell Investment’s Go-to-Market (Sales and Client Relationship), Product Solutions, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Investment Division groups to ensure cross-functional agreement and execution of events.
Create project plans/timelines and communicate to key stakeholders.
Lead project meetings through the implementation lifecycle, ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met, identify issues or bottlenecks and coordinate issue resolution efforts.
Identify new or improved processes to help accelerate project timeframes where feasible.

Your Expertise:

Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, economics, or business administration
5+ years of experience working in the financial/investment management sector strongly preferred
Project management experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct multiple projects and activities with varied deadlines; utilize sound judgment; be strategic thinker
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and tight timelines
Excellent attention to detail and collaborative project coordination skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts and ideas; Ability to communicate effectively with several types and levels of associates and external contacts
Organized, analytical and detail-oriented, with a solid understanding of the securities/fund industry, as well as investment concepts and strategies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and comfort with database applications
