Production Assembly Worker Part Time *Any Shift*

Cooper Standard in Oscoda, MI has immediate part time production assembly openings. Starting wage is $14.00 per hour. Growth opportunities available.

Position Summary:

Part Time openings on all shifts.

19 hours or less and you pick your schedule!!!

Steel toed shoes/boots are required, and your costs will be reimbursed. Basic/nonprescription safety glasses are provided.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate assembly/production machinery that manufactures internal components and systems for the automotive industry.

Perform dexterous assembly with hands.

Stand for 8-10 hours in steel toed shoes.

Work well with others in a team environment.

Follow plant, safety, quality procedures and work instructions.

Keep work area clean.

Verify quality parts are being produced by performing visual and gauging checks.

Be flexible with overtime.

Promote an atmosphere conscience of health, safety and environmental practices.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required. Education equivalent options available.

Prior manufacturing experience is desired but not required.

Must pass all pre-employment screenings, have good attendance and a reliable means to get to work.

Work Environment/Work Conditions:

Work environment and physical requirements are typical of the conditions on a manufacturing floor.

Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor
