Job Description:
Responsibilities:

Follow all Terex safety policy and procedures
-
Maintain and update Master Production Schedules, chair scheduling meeting and communicate any constraints to meet the production schedule.

Work closely with the operations and sales team to forecast future demand and add it to the production schedule after it goes thru the clear to build process.

Monitor inventory levels of consignment steel and communicate to vendor on requirements when necessary to keep stock at an optimal level

Prepare work orders for the production of parts based on the production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements
-
Run reports to validate inventory level of all make parts and create job orders for production to produce within company’s min / max setpoints.

Train new team members as required in production processes

Assist in the implementation of improvements to production methods that could lead to increase in efficiency and reduction of waste

Assist in the investigation and resolution of any problems that arise during the production process

Keep accurate records of production output to assist in future production planning parameters.

Enter material transactions in ERP system as needed
Basic Qualifications:
-
2+ years in production control or equivalent field
-
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Associates Degree, Certificate Program or advanced training in production planning or scheduling strongly preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Prior experience in manufacturing, supply chain management or a related field is preferred.

Strong working knowledge of data analysis
-
Organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) with a focus on scheduling processes

Ability to read blueprints to assist in calculating material needs.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
Possess knowledge and experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP). Preferred Oracle based system.
The salary range for this position is $28.00 to $34.00 per hour, based on qualifications and years of experience.
