We’re hiring a Production Supervisor

Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a production supervisor for its manufacturing facility in Columbus, Indiana to manage the production performance, personnel issues and the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards of several GAPs (Autonomous Production Groups).

You’ll work on challenges that matter

This job will require you to

• Lead the Quality Cost & Delivery (QCD) Performance for designated groups

• Direct QCD initiatives by setting targets, implementing plans, tracking daily results and making appropriate adjustments in resource planning in order to attain desired results
• Drive actions for improvement by communicating with the Production Manager, Production Supervisors of other shifts, and support functions to ensure a transparent information flow
• Manage team performance and know team problems
• Define areas for performance improvements with team members, drive teamwork, lead problem solving groups, lead workshops on quality improvement (5S, TPM, 6M…)

• Manage the personnel issues of the assigned team

• Ensure daily team management
• Ensure the respect of standardized work methods
• Maintain a presence on the floor to answer questions or address problems
• Develop the team
• Ensure proper staffing and integrate new team members

The ideal candidate

To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:

Minimum education level: Associate degree in Engineering or Diploma, with a specialization in Production

• Minimum of 1 year of production experience
• Team Player
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Operational level of English
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
