What You’ll Do:
As the Internal Communication Manager of the Products organization, you will lead our internal and executive communications strategy around Teradata’s vision, goals, projects, and executive updates to the employee population. You will be a strategic partner to our Chief Product Officer, developing executive messaging and working across teams including Marketing, Human Resources, Go to Market, Customer Support, and Finance to support communications for the Products Organizations. Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute internal and executive Products communications plan: You will align Products internal and executive messaging with the company’s vision and strategy.
Internal Corporate Products Communications Messaging: Work with our Product marketing team to help create consistent messaging about our products, emerging technologies, etc. for both internal and external audiences.
Recommend, develop, and author a variety of internal and executive communications to be delivered across a variety of channels, including;
All hands presentations
Videos, announcements
Newsletters
Blogs
to be delivered across a variety of channels. Help with creating cascading internal communications guidelines for Products leadership to cascade to their team.

Lead and manage Teradata Products org, internal communications repository and leverage all available communication channels to reach the broadest audience.

Maintain consistent communications with compelling quotes and well thought out stories, through video and internal platforms.
Ensure that all communication materials are planned and executed through the appropriate parties.
Who You’ll Work With
This position will report to our Senior Director of Corporate Communications. If you are an expert storyteller with a passion for creating experiences, this is a great opportunity to join our team and play a critical role in building our Products brand. You will help build a culture of collaboration and enhance the employee experience and journey, through engagement, connection, and inspiring the community of Teradata employees! You will also partner with the Chief Product Officer’s Executive Assistant and Product Operations Project Coordinator to execute scheduling.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of related experience
- or- Master’s degree plus 6 years of related experience
- or- Ph.D. plus 3 years of related experience
What You’ll Bring:
Experience creating content for a company-wide audience and C-level executives
Experience creating written content for executive and organizational audiences.
Experience with communication tools such as SharePoint, email templating, supporting video messaging, website, and social media tools
Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical language into understandable and approachable content for general audiences (blogs, whitepapers, preparing talks, etc)
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain organization and creativity in a fast-paced environment.
