Professional Services Operations Manager

As our Professional Services Operations Manager, you will be the key business partner for the fast-growing Professional Services organization and build a new critical workstream within the GTM Operations team, which supports the entire post sales customer lifecycle. You will partner closely with the Professional Services organization and their Leadership team to define their operational strategy and execute on key initiatives, process improvements, reporting, and analysis to continue to evolve and scale the Professional Services business.

What would you do, if hired?

  • Be a business partner to Professional Services leadership team and executives, providing insights to help shape the strategy of the business
  • Works with regional professional services leaders and finance to design, implement and manage high quality and accurate forecasting, planning and budgeting processes that are integrated with other planning processes employed within the firm.
  • Partners with regional professional services leaders to identify and drive process improvements. Ensures successful implementation of new programs through the professional services organization.
  • Works with and/or manages a team of PS resource managers, working closely with the regional professional services leaders and sales on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensures data, reports, and other internal intelligence tools are provided to stakeholders.
  • Builds and evaluates regional forecasting results and trends. Works with finance, sales and the PS leadership to ensure effective use and adoption of a PSA solution for time tracking, capacity planning, and invoicing.
  • Coordinates with leadership and enablement teams on corporate functions, reporting, and tools available to them to ensure broader organizational adoption.
  • Provide data-driven insights on key performance indicators (KPI) and standardized business metrics
  • Provide strategic guidance to area leadership teams, bringing deep knowledge of business operations best practices
  • Establish baseline metrics/reports to support the development of new practices and goals, as necessary Lead and review the end-to-end execution of annual planning process to include headcount, utilization, and goal planning
  • Partner with PS management team to drive business continuity, unblocking teams when required. Support practice management and resource management in maximizing available capacity to staff customer engagements
  • Time card, expense entry and training compliance; drive timely entry of billable time and expenses across the engagement teams
  • Business planning; establish business rhythm and cadence, leading meetings through deliverables, outcomes and actions. Own agenda development and track follow-up actions and influence leaders to complete forward looking business plans.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services leaders to provide reports focused on financial and resource management data to aid with revenue and budgetary goals.

Who are we looking for?

  • 7+ years experience in a senior Professional Services role, or Success/Services Operations role at a fast-growth SaaS company
  • Experience using PSA applications and other business systems (Salesforce required); administration experience a plus
  • Strong business acumen and deep knowledge of a Professional Services business; able to demonstrate knowledge of key processes and metrics
  • Strong communication skills; able to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including Senior Leadership and cross-functional teams across the company
  • Excellent organization skills; experience managing detailed project plans, meeting deadlines, and proactively raising blockers and mitigating risks
  • Analytical and data-driven thinker; able to both delve into the details and operational tactics and engage meaningfully on the big picture or overall strategy
  • Self-starter: Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, working cross-functionally, and delivering results

Pay Scale Information

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $135,000 and $150,000 for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
