The Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME) welcomes candidates with strong customer service skills and comfortability working with Word & Excel for a Program Assistant opportunity. As a Program Assistant, you will have the opportunity to support the Office of Continuing Medical Education in a variety of ways including by serving as a liaison with departments for their continuing education needs and ensuring compliance with accreditation rules.
More About This Role
Serves as liaison with College of Medicine departments in oversight of their Grand Rounds and other regularly scheduled activities. Reviews all documentation submitted for CME activities for compliance with policies and procedures, accuracy, and completeness. Maintains Grand Rounds logs by assessing and recording compliance with required elements. Manages attendance reporting in registration system and state licensure system. Fulfills requests for CME transcripts, and provides individual certificates if requested.
Serves as liaison with departmental coordinators for department managed live and online CME activities. Duties include reviewing application and marketing materials for accreditation requirements, coordinating website and registration services.
Assists with on-site conferences as needed. Answers phone and assists with answering participant inquiries.
