Who we are looking for:
As the Program Associate for the Guidelines and Measures Division of our Policy and Advocacy Department, you will play a crucial role in coordinating guideline and measures-focused projects. You will also provide valuable administrative support to various groups such as the Evidence Based Medicine Committee, Guideline Advisory Groups, Measures Steering Group, and Measures, Guideline, and Standards Panels.

This position is hybrid with a primary location in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee/Evidence Based Medicine Committee, Guideline Advisory Groups, Measures Steering Group, and Measures Panels, Guideline and Standards Panels
  • Schedule and attend meetings/conference calls, facilitate meetings, produce meeting materials and minutes/notes, and carry out follow-up
  • Obtain articles via electronic library service then compile and distribute as appropriate
  • Provide data checking assistance to the Guideline and Measures Specialists
  • Coordinating division processes including official representatives, open comment, permissions, contracts, invoice and expense processing, and web content
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of work experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science
  • Interest in quality in healthcare

  • Able to plan and prioritize work to support varied projects, plans, and goals and meet deadlines

Work Environment
Fast-paced office environment with extended periods seated at a computer and using other office technology equipment
