Program Management Analyst

• Capable of independently performing the tasks relevant to the basic contract without receiving help from other contractor employees
• Be able to plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment
• Formulate plans and recommend effective strategies to assist the program manager in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives
• Provide assistance in areas of systems acquisition policy and recommend improvements
• Provide quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.) to the program manager in support of the overall program

Must have comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management as well as knowledge of roles and relationships of DoD and the Air Force.

Candidate must also:

• Have knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs
• Have knowledge to support activities to assist the program manager in assessing that programs are within schedule and cost baselines
• Be able to recommend viable solutions to problems and the pursuit of alternative courses of action
• Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing
• BA/BS, 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD, or in lieu of degree 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 5 of which must be in the DoD
• U.S. Citizenship and Secret security clearance required
