The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Program Manager to drive our product development roadmap. Our Program Manager will collaborate with a broad spectrum of multi-disciplinary internal partners including Factory, Construction site, Design teams, software, engineering and manufacturing experts. This individual will manage the product roadmap from definition to completion. Programs will include the consolidation of product requirements, prioritization of features and technologies as a starting point for any feature being built. Programs will be approved based on resources planning with clear milestones and objectives correlated with the product requirements objectives. This role reports to our VP Product and has a direct influence on the company roadmap and product vision. The ideal program manager is a proactive, motivated, multidisciplinary, self-assured individual with a strong combination of strategy and execution skills that can assume full ownership.
In this Role, You Will:
Lead highly visible multidisciplinary product roadmap
Manages the overall operating rhythm of product developments – multi-disciplinary teams, facilitates meetings, defines problem statements, sets clear goals, tracks progress, and drives business results
Proactively identifies execution bottlenecks and provides solutions, either as a short term “Just get it done” approach while seeing the long term and getting lessons learned
Ensures that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, feasibility studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of completion
Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to specifications, project / program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion
Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate
Provide data analytics and insights
Seeks out internal and external experts to support program success and drive alignment;
Strong leadership skills \ collaboration capabilities
Generates compelling presentations and reports with clear insights; distills complex information for Executive communication (excellent PowerPoint/Google Slide, Excel, analytical, messaging and visual / written / verbal communications skills required)
Requirements, Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferably within an Engineering discipline
7+ years of work experience in program management, strong risk analysis and decision making expertise
Strong interpersonal skills with the temperament and ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary projects / initiatives and collaborate with a wide spectrum of stakeholders
Highly detail oriented; multi-tasking skills; excellent planning, organizational, and execution skills; ability to perform task methodically with structure; ability to create a good framework before execution; drives execution to the timeline with sense of urgency with minimum direction
Strong communication skills; ability to communicate (verbal, written, and visual presentation)
Collaborative team player with the ability to work cohesively in a team environment
Adaptive to changing priorities / environment
Ability to handle complex, ambiguous tasks; ability to execute and perform with limited, imperfect information - Strong risk assessment skills
Hands-On: Preferred having experience \ history with the below data systems
Understanding PLM / ERP Dataflows
Work experience on CAD systems, Understanding CAM & BIM is an advantage
Fast learner and adaptive to various design tools as a reviewer
Advantage: Working with regulatory firms, either in construction or elsewhere
Compensation:
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $150,000 - $170,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas. This role is also eligible for stock options, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
