What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate business requirements, and plan and define project milestones, timelines, and resourcing. Spearhead working group meetings, resolving any issues and dependencies with key partners.
  • Proactively identify and quantify opportunities to improve store operations and drive cross-functional alignment to pursue through larger initiatives or smaller projects
  • Identify project success metrics, evaluate project progress, and communicate results to the internal team and external partners
  • Assume responsibility for the program’s project team and vendors, leading project managers and other staff as needed
  • Facilitate decision making with project team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization related to project performance, including, but not limited to schedule, timelines, scope, budget, and resources
  • Develop solutions and represent Store Operations in cross-functional solution design and development, focusing on efficiency, store adoption, and strong execution
  • Document, create, implement, and update SOPs. Partner with learning & Development to incorporate into Learning structure
  • Maintain and update Operations Manual
  • Plan, manage, execute, and support operational tests, pilots, and rollout/implementation of new processes, tools and other changes to field leaders and stores
  • Evaluate project status, resource utilization, and implementation of changes to improve the teams’ effectiveness
  • Ensure effective communication to Sandbox VR stores and store associates by developing communication plans and communicate appropriate level information (status, issues, risks, decisions, etc.) to project sponsors, senior staff, and Operations
  • Partner across our globally distributed teams
  • Travel as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in a corporate retail environment required. 3+ years of experience as a Program/Project Manager or Operations leader preferred
  • Communication: Delivers clear, effective communication and listens to others.
  • Systems Thinking: Recognizes patterns, trends, themes, and connections in information to develop innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Influence: Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders, resolve conflict, and motivate others to achieve results
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Accurately assesses problems and effectively and efficiently arrives at solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Understands the current state and is able to visualize the ideal state and how to achieve it.
  • Team-Mentality: You take an organization-level view and are equally invested in the success of others. You invite and act on different points of view and love to tackle problems with others. You quickly establish trusting relationships that enable you to influence others to give and receive feedback.
  • Organized: You sweat the details and plan for contingencies. You create simple structures and processes that accelerate our business. And, you are flexible, like thinking on your feet, and can adjust for the unexpected. You know how to manage projects through the smallest details.
  • Data-obsessed: You take data seriously and want information that helps drive decision making. You measure results and always have ideas on how something can be improved.

Salary range: $90,000-$120,000 a year (exact salary to be offered based on alignment with skills needed in role)
