The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator in our QORA department!

This position can be home based.

This is a full time, benefits eligible, grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on 06/30/2025.

Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for supporting the activities of specially funded quality initiatives within the Business Development and Strategic Alliances team. In this role they will be involved in the day-to-day implementation of projects working closely with Quality Programs Managers (QPM). This includes regular communication between team members and stakeholders, completing specific project-related tasks, coordinating project schedules and information, and prioritizing and maintaining project documents.

  • Presenting project needs and activities, as identified by the QPM, between team members, managers and other partners
  • Completing specific project implementation tasks, as assigned by the QPM, related to professional education and marketing (print, digital, webinars, podcasts, etc.)
  • Provide implementation and organizational support by coordinating schedules for project activities with American Heart Association staff and external partners, crafting and submitting documentation for internal project resources, updating and maintaining project documents, reports and tracking spreadsheets
  • Provide ongoing support across the Business Development and Strategic Alliances team for any special projects and activities identified by team leadership
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six (6) Months – Two (2) Years
  • Administrative or coordination experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Comprehensive Microsoft Office suite skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of American Heart Association staff, volunteers and the public
Preferred Experience:
  • Some college or bachelor’s degree
  • Smartsheet
  • SharePoint
  • Virtual meeting platforms (ex. Zoom, GoToWebinar)
