Overview:

Under the direction of the Senior Vice-President, the Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.

The Project Manager will analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements. Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
  • Structure and manage integrated, multi-track project performance databases for multiple digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects, with an eye on overall progress
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
  • Create and adjust timelines according to what is feasible from our different vendors.
  • Facilitate PD link with purchasing, production and logistics during development, on fragrance, samples, etc.
  • Needs to be able to accurately convey a new product idea or change in direction quickly and efficiently, and how that affects operations.
  • Work directly with R&D, Product Development, Marketing, Education, Creative Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, & external parties to achieve desired outcomes
  • Own project team meetings
  • Drive development timelines to marry with purchase order deadlines, so that raw materials and items are purchased on time.
  • Drive development key milestones to marry with industrialization deadlines - in order for products to be manufactured correctly and on time.
  • Keep track of key documents needed for production – package specifications, final formula manufacturing procedures, etc.
  • Help manage logistics so that production tracks accurately to ship date, and in warehouse date
  • Help manage phase-in of updated products, requiring adjustments to formula or packages, so that we can develop adjustments according to an accurate timeline.
  • Drive completion of tasks, work through bottlenecks, assess risks and raise issues to the appropriate levels
  • Responsible for on time delivery of all product development projects, and in meeting pre-established quality standards and pre-determined target costs.
  • Support the continuous improvement initiatives
  • Execute above responsibilities within artwork production processes tracking to hard dates in known timelines.
  • Special projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Project or Gantt Chart preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Previous success in producing deliverable software platforms
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Experience developing in-house platforms for internal processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
